Who we are

Located in Clermont County, OH, we are a family greenhouse operation with two locations. We grow annuals, perennials, vegetables, and herbs to sell in our retail stores. Danny and Ellen Grant started the business in 1978 and it is currently owned and operated by their daughter Leah Grant.

Best workshop ever 🥺

For my birthday on Friday my friends came over to 131 to make wreaths! People always ask me if I get sick of wreath workshops… the answer is no. Absolutely not lol. So thankful for these people and loved hosting them for one of my favorite things to do 🎄

This was our last planned workshop of the season but you are welcome to stop in and make a wreath any time we are open until Christmas Eve! Also maybe now we start hosting birthday parties?? 😂

PSA: we have walk in wreath making available this year!! Our workshop area is a permanent set up, so we always have the wreath machines out and PLENTY of greenery available 🎄 it is $50 per wreath. If you haven’t made a wreath before, we will have a staff member explain how to do so. If you have made a wreath before, you can get right to work (or we’re happy to do a quick refresher!)

Our hours at Grant’s Garden Center 2115 OH-131 are Sunday 10am-7pm, Monday to Thursday 9am-7pm, and Friday and Saturday 9am-9pm. It usually takes around one hour to make a wreath (sometimes less or more) so make sure to be there at least one hour before close.

My mom says we can’t go to Germany this year because now we have a Christmas market at home 😅😂

People have been describing the store as homey and cozy and giving all the Christmas feels 🎄 I wanted it to feel like a little German Christmas market. We are so happy to be doing Christmas at Grant’s Garden Center on 131 and excited to add things in the years to come.

Thank you so much to everyone who has been out to see the trains and shop the vendors! If you haven’t been yet, we are open every day until Christmas Eve! We are open 9am-7pm Monday to Thursday, 9am-9pm on Friday and Saturday, and 10am-7pm on Sunday. On Christmas Eve we will close at noon.

Remember, you can shop all of the vendors booths and then do one checkout in the store! The vendors themselves won’t be there, just their items 🎁

This weekend ❤️🎄❄️ it was freezing outside (literally) but nice and warm in the greenhouse! Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by this weekend and helped us have a record Christmas season sales day! We will be here every day until Christmas Eve. The vendor items are available all day every day and the trains run daily 🚂

Our Christmas market is the epitome of small business ❤️ we’re just a farm family with a small greenhouse business and we have the honor of hosting 50 other small businesses inside our store 🎄 Every purchase you make in our store is directly impacting local families. I think the best part about our Christmas market is realizing how many talented makers live right here in our community

Dear dad- I hope you like your train layout this year 🚂 Since we’re doing Christmas at 131 for the first time, I was planning to surprise you with having a sign made to replicate the one you always put up at the farm in memory of your dad. Well the surprise was on me, so instead I had one made in memory of you. On one hand I love the sign (thanks @hometownwoodwerks ) and on the other hand it makes me want to throw up. We start running the trains tomorrow and I swear if they start acting up I’m finding a way to send them up to you to fix. Wish you were here to see my Christmas market 🎄 - Leah

Meet some of our 2024 vendors! Our Christmas market is filled with 50 local vendors 🎄 Stop by and check out all of the unique items hand made by these local people!

It is such an honor to host all of these awesome people in our store this year and are so thankful they chose us to sell their products! It has been a pleasure to have so many returning vendors (from our milford store) and meet so many new vendors. Who knew our community has so many talented makers?!

We’re open every day (not Thanksgiving) from now to Christmas Eve at Grant’s Garden Center 2115 OH-131 Batavia OH 🎄 The vendors products are available for purchase daily. We will be spotlighting each vendor throughout the season on our Grant’s Garden Center Facebook page so you can learn more about them!

Was last night a dream??? Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who came out to our first ever sip and shop at 131! The turnout was so much more than we expected and the new parking lot was FULL ❤️ there was a lot of sipping and a lot of shopping 🎄

Wright’s Bites food truck will be parked outside and Grace well catering is inside with build a board charcuterie! So come hungry and thirsty 😋

Thank you so much to everyone who helps make this happen! It takes a village to set up and take down this village every year. And an extra huge thank you to Chuck Taylor who has been volunteering his time and put together the track and electrical and repairing the train engines. The employees did an amazing job designing and building the frame and installing all of the houses. Chuck has been doing the pieces my dad always did and we couldn’t be more thankful!

The trains will be running during our sip and shop on Saturday 11/23 from 6-8pm and then every day starting the day after Thanksgiving!

We’ve been busy getting ready for Christmas at 131 🎄 the train layout is going up, vendors will be stocking their booths soon, and Christmas trees, wreaths, and roping will be arriving before we know it! Can’t wait to share all of the updates 🎅

131 is currently open daily 9-5 and 10-5 on Sundays. Our Christmas hours will start on November 29, and the trains will start running that day too 🚂

$5 pumpkins this Saturday and Sunday at both locations when you buy four or more!

Starting to feel like fall outside 🍁🍂 here are some views around 131 tonight. We restocked today and we have tons of straw bales, mums, pumpkins, and cornstalks! Everything you need for fall decorating 🎃
